Home Remedies for Hair Loss


It is normal to lose 50 to 100 hairs every day as a normal part of the body's renewal process. However, sometimes the loss can be so noticeable that we begin to see the terrifying entries.


There are many reasons why hair falls out. It can be by inheritance, after pregnancy, poor diet, treatment of some diseases or stress.


Fortunately over the years they have been passing natural remedies that are said to help reactivate hair growth.


Most of these home remedies however, are "grandma's recipes" and have no scientific basis.


Grandma's Recipes to Stop Hair Fall


1. Rinse Apple Cider Vinegar and Sage Tea Against Hair Loss:

Apple cider vinegar contains sulfur which is a very beneficial mineral for hair. On the other hand, the Medical Center of the University of Maryland has said that sage could help grow new hair.

Make a mixture of a cup of sage tea with three tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and apply it. Do not wash it. This remedy is not recommended for blonde hair because sage is also used to darken hair.


2. Rinsing Carrot and Coconut to Stop Hair Loss


Carrot juice contains antioxidants and also contains vitamin B6 and vitamin B12, which are two essential vitamins for healthy hair.

Coconut milk has been used for many years to promote general hair health. Remove the juice from the carrot and add equal parts of coconut milk. Leave it for 15 minutes and wash as usual.


3. Sweet Almond Oil to Combat Hair Loss


The use of sweet almond oil for hair loss began in ancient Egypt. The Egyptians mixed it with castor oil to combat hair loss. In addition, almonds are a good source of protein that is a vital nutrient for hair health.  Mix a few drops of almond oil with aloe vera gel and massage the scalp with the mixture. leave for a few hours and wash as usual.
This remedy should not be used if the person is allergic to nuts. The Egyptian remedy is also still used today to stop hair loss. Castor oil is good for promoting blood circulation so the hair follicles receive more nutrients and therefore the hair lasts longer to fall out.

You can mix one tablespoon of castor oil with two of almond oil and massage the scalp. Leave for 15 minutes and wash as usual.

4. Add Contraceptive Pills to Shampoo 


This trick was given to me by a cousin of my mom about 20 years ago. And to this day I still see it in forums and books. I imagine that the idea behind this trick will be the hormones.

In my experience I have never had more abundant and longer hair than when I was pregnant with my son. For some reason the pregnancy of my two daughters was not so much the effect. But going back to the recipe for the pills, add about 3 or 4 pills to your shampoo bottle and the gel of a few aloe leaves. Use the shampoo regularly.

5. Fenugreek and Coconut Milk so That your Hair does not Fall Out


Fenugreek is another ingredient with a high protein content that could be good for combating hair loss. Like birth control pills, I imagine that fenugreek will also have some hormonal effect.

The recipe consists of making a paste of 1/2 teaspoon of fenugreek powder (can be found in the spice aisle of the supermarket) with 3/4 cup of coconut milk and a rigorous massage on the skull. Then cover your head with a plastic cap for 30 minutes and then wash your hair. This treatment is repeated twice a week for 2 months.

6. Recipe for New Hair 


6 bones with marrow, 1 small bottle of castor oil. The bones are boiled until the marrow is melted and the oil is added. It is put in a glass jar and kept refrigerated. It is applied once a week for 30 minutes.

7. Massage to Fight Hair Loss 


Many times something as simple as massaging the scalp can be very good to stop hair loss. Massage increases blood circulation to hair follicles and therefore nourishes and strengthens them. Add rosemary essential oil to the shampoo. Rosemary also improves blood circulation. You can pour 3 to 5 drops of rosemary oil for every ounce of shampoo.
